What is Chromecast?
Google Chromecase is a device that plugs into a TV’s HDMI port and displays TV and movies onto a television from entertainment apps via mobile device (phone, tablet, etc.) using cloud technology.

Casting from an App
Ensure your mobile device, tablet or computer is connected to the hotel Wi-Fi network.
Open a Chromecast-enabled app.
Tap the Cast icon. The Cast icon may appear in different places on Chromecast-enabled apps.
When connected, the Cast icon will become solid, letting you know you are connected.
You can now stream videos, movies and TV shows directly to your TV.
To stop casting, tap the Cast icon then tap ‘Disconnect.’

Is my device compatible?
iQ cast is compatible with iOS and Android phones and tablets, as well as any laptop running the Google Chrome browser.
Can I still use my device while casting content?
Chromecast’s multi-tasking capabilities allow you to continue using your laptop, tablet or mobile device while casting/streaming videos or a Chrome Browser tab. Once you begin casting, your device is available to open other apps, check emails and social media, create YouTube playlists and even text.
What happens to my credentials when I check out?
All your credentials are stored on your own personal device and are never entered into the hotel room TV. Your device is automatically disconnected from the TV at checkout.
Do I need to download an app to use iQ cast?
No. You simply use the Chromecast-enabled apps on your device.
Is there a charge to cast?
There is no fee to stream. Some hotels, however, may charge for access to the hotel Wi-Fi which is required to stream content.
How do I change which apps I am casting?
You can use your mobile device or tablet as a remote and control everything from playback to volume. To stop casting media, tap on the Cast button for options to disconnect. To switch apps, open a different app and press the Cast button within the app to override what is currently casting to the TV.
What music streaming option are available with iQ cast?
There are plenty of Android and iOS apps with built in cast buttons including Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, Google Play Music, YouTube Music and iHeart Radio.
I am having trouble casting.
1). Ensure your mobile device, tablet or computer is connected to the hotel Wi-Fi.
2). You must be running the latest version of the Chromecast-enabled app. You can double check that you are on the latest version by visiting the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and checking for any app update.
